Beautiful Marbella

Las Chapas

East of Marbella  in Las Chapas is a stylish but modest picturesque harbor town "Puerto Cabopino" Surrounded by beautiful pine covered hills and mountains, Cabopino is often overlooked by tourists. Like other marinas, it has a good selection of bars and restaurants.

On summer evenings you can enjoy traditional flamenco, while the sun sets on the squares just above the port of Cabopino. On both sides of the harbor are the fantastic beaches that are never crowded and where some good beach bars are located.

On the west side of Cabopino is the nature reserve Playa de la Dunas. This is the only part where there are natural sand dunes. The Artola dunes continue to testify to how this part of the marbella coast used to be. The landscaped wooden walkways with balustrades allow you to take beautiful walks between this natural beauty without damaging nature.

The Torre de los Ladrones is part of military and defensive architecture that has been declared a single property of cultural importance.
